The 2026 Uxbridge Studio Tour takes place Saturday, September 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As a self-guided tour, you're free to follow this itinerary at your own pace, spending as much time as you like at each stop.
Whether you visit for a full day or make a weekend of it, you'll have the opportunity to meet the artists, explore inspiring studios and discover the stories behind the work in some of Durham Region's most beautiful creative spaces.

Studio 19 | Muscat Studio
Staying with the immersive theme, your experience begins before you even reach the front door. As you make your way through the wooded property surrounding Francis Muscat's home, studio and gallery, you'll discover hidden sculptures and unexpected artistic surprises tucked throughout the forest, turning the walk from your car into an adventure in itself.
Inside, you'll find a remarkable home where art is woven into everyday life. Francis' distinctive sculptural glass work and quirky artistic details are integrated throughout the architecture and decor, creating a space that truly embodies the idea of living with art.

Studio 18 | Bishop & Loach Studio
Now we move to a studio that showcases just how sophistication and a diverse collection of art can work together to create a space that is nothing short of spectacular. This elegant home, studio, gallery was built by Okwen Contracting, showcases exquisite custom metalwork by Tom Loach of CNC Profiles. The custom architecture creates a stunning backdrop for the work of Lynn Bishop, Tom Loach and their enormous community of talented artist friends.

Now it's time to refuel so that you can get the most out of your Uxbridge Art Daytrip from Toronto.
Just north of town, you will find Banjo Cider, where you can enjoy incredible local cider in their stunning rural garden/patio.
Or make your way into beautiful downtown Uxbridge. In the centre of town you will find a treasure trove of incredible places to eat.
For a quick grab-and-go, you can't beat homemade soup with a mini baguette from The Passionate Cook's Essentials. Or sit down to a quick lunch at Fig Kitchen, the Urban Pantry, or the Second Wedge Brewing Company; all with both indoor and outdoor dining options.

Start your afternoon at a studio that feels like it belongs in the pages of Dwell. Built by Okwen Contracting, Fly Freeman's striking modern-rustic studio is an artist's dream. The ground floor is an active workshop where ideas take shape (sorry, no guests in the workshop), while upstairs, a light-filled gallery showcases Fly's captivating glass, stone, and mixed media sculptures. Fly's unique works shift, bend and dance with changing light throughout the day. You'll be captivated.

Sarah Holtby's contemporary mixed media works will stop you in your tracks. Whether you visit at this studio to admire the architecture or the art, you won't be disappointed.
