Kirsty's work is as diverse as it is charming. She has added Needle Felting, Nuno Felting, Wet Felting, Spinning and Saori Weaving to her work and is now finding new ways of incorporating both glass & fibre into unique pieces.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Kirsty has been a glass beadmaker since 1993 and has enjoyed showing her work in shows and online for many years.
For the past few years, she has also been working with fibre. She has added Needle Felting, Nuno Felting, Wet Felting, Spinning and Saori Weaving to her work and is now finding new ways of incorporating both glass & fibre into unique pieces.
Metal, including Sterling Silver, Copper and Brass, Alcohol Ink Paintings, Watercolours and Wood have now become part of her artistic endeavours. These mediums have been both rewarding and challenging.
Learning new techniques and producing positive results brings Kirsty great joy and satisfaction.

This year, Kirsty will be showcasing her unique one-of-a-kind pieces at the indoor/outdoor studio gallery of painter Colin Whitebread, along with fellow guest artists Susan Whitebread, Sarah Porter and Gordon Reidt.
