Mike Wilkins
Mike Wilkins brings together the weathered beauty of salvaged materials and the clean lines of modern design, crafting distinctive pieces that reflect both sustainability and artistic vision.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Step into Mike Wilkins’ studio in Uxbridge, Ontario, and you’ll quickly see that nothing here is ordinary. Weathered boards, discarded equipment, and rusted steel become the foundation for handcrafted furniture and sculptural pieces with strength, character, and purpose.
A skilled welder and lifelong machinery enthusiast, Mike is drawn to the mechanics of how things are built, and rebuilt. His passion for the industrial world brings a raw edginess to each piece that honours the history of the materials it is made from.

A long-time participant in the Uxbridge Studio Tour, Mike welcomes visitors to his studio at 112 Brock Street East. It’s a chance to see how incorporating industrial style into a traditional home can create a striking space that catches the eye and makes guests look twice.
Come in, take a look around, and see what reclaimed materials can become.
Studio 13
Mike will be showcasing his work in his charming home studio gallery, where art and environment blend seamlessly. This year, he’ll be joined by guest artists Tamara Williamson, Sarah Porter, and Karin Silverstone, making this an inspiring stop you won’t want to miss.
If you're interested in purchasing one of Mike's unique creations, feel free to reach out to him directly through his website, by email, or with a quick phone call.
