I am inspired by the natural beauty that has surrounded me for the past 12 years: the patterns on tree bark, the shapes of flower petals and leaves. I love to incorporate these elements into my art-jewellery creations.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Monica Gennaro is the founder and creator of Beke Design Jewellery.
Monica lives in the picturesque country side of Stouffville, Ontario and creates the jewellery in her own Studio.
After immigrating to Canada from Europe, Monica found her true passion designing and hand fabricating fine jewellery. She studied and excelled in an Intense Jewellery program at George Brown College. After graduating she spent years mastering the art of making fine jewellery. Monica's work is showcased and featured at Burlington Art Gallery and Preston Gallery in Uxbridge, Ontario.
She attends art shows across the province, from Art in the Park Windsor 2015-2019, ArtFest Toronto 2014-2018, Outdoor Art Exhibition Toronto 2015 and 2018, Art in the Park Oakville 2016-2019, Art on the Street Guelph 2018.
Monica loves to play with shapes, forms and textures. She's created a unique collection of jewellery what can be worn individually or together. This keeps the clients coming back to collect more pieces from Beke Design Fine Jewellery.
