ABOUT THE ARTIST
Joy Whalen takes her inspiration from our own Canadian Landscapes. As I canoe across a quiet lake I always study the majestic northern pines on the shorelines. They are resilient even on the roughest of rocky outcroppings with exposure to the harshest environments.
I work from my home studio in Uxbridge.
Each metal piece is carved with a small plasma cutter and crafted onto its own piece of the Canadian Shield.
