I am constantly amazed and impressed with the incredible range of colours, textures and patterns in wood and am inspired by this to create, design and build things of beauty.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
James Warburton's educational background took some interesting turns, as he has diplomas from both the Ontario College of Art (now OCAD) and Trinity College of Music (London England).
James went on to become first, a music teacher and then and art teacher and finally an arts department head for many years.
During this entire time James says he "was enthralled with woodworking, building Shaker Style furniture and early Canadian reproductions".
Most recently, James decided to combine music, art and woodworking and began making classical guitars.
Living in Uxbridge in a beautiful century home and having an exquisite workshop has afforded James the opportunity to develop his skills to the fullest in a wonderful community.
