ABOUT THE ARTIST
While attending Humber College’s Audio Visual Technology programme Francis Muscat had a ceramics elective and it was there that he got introduced to the creative process and to the pleasures and excitement of working with his hands.
After a few other creative arts programmes at different schools Francis ended up at the Ontario College of Arts’ Glass programme. That was it, he was hooked on Glass.
In 1988 Francis moved to Uxbridge and was introduced to the incredible arts community, by 1989 he got involved in the Uxbridge Studio Tour, by 1993, he was the director for 3 years. Francis has been actively involved with the Tour organization ever since then.
