How to Visit Our 2020 Artists

Our artists are excited to invite you into our studios to show you how we work and what we have been creating over the past 12 months. To help us give you a safe and fun art tour experience we have a selection of studios offering tours in 4 new formats. Here's what the options mean, and how you can enjoy our tour.

If you are signed up to visit one of our studios but find that you have been in contact with anyone showing Covid-19 symptoms, or if you are displaying symptoms of Covid-19, please contact the artist to cancel your tour. Our artists will happily arrange for you to visit their studio another time to see their work.

Option 1 - Virtual Tour

Almost all of our 2020 artists will be offering a digital tour of their studio for everyone to enjoy. Our virtual tours will be accessible within our exciting new digital brochure and on this website in September. Each virtual tour is unique and gives you insights into the artist's personality, the techniques they use to create their work, examples of their artwork, and a peak inside their studios.

If you are reading this before September, be sure to come back again soon to discover our new digital brochure, and this years exciting virtual tours!

If you see a piece of art that you'd like to learn more about, or purchase contact the artist using the information found on their webpage. They would love to hear from you

Option 2 - Outdoor Studio Tour

As well as the virtual tour, many of our artists are happy to invite you to book an outdoor visit to their studio. If you are interested in booking an outdoor visit to artists listed as offering Option 2, here is how it works in light of Stage 3 Covid-19 guidelines:

  • As soon as possible, use the Book a Tour button on the artists webpage to contact the artist directly. Let the artist know your preferred date and time for a visit, and how many are in your party. The artist will be sure to get back to you with their availability.
  • Visit the artist's  outdoor studio location at the pre-arranged time, and enjoy your time chatting with the artist and discovering their new, exciting work.
  • While masks are not mandatory, we ask that your respect standard covid-19 precautions  in terms of social distancing, and by all means wear a mask if it makes you feel more comfortable.

Option 3 - Indoor Studio Tour

Some of our artists are happy to welcome visitors inside their studio for tour weekend, following Covid-19 guidelines. If you would like to visit the studio of an artist offering indoor visits, here's what to do:

  • As soon as possible, use the Book a Tour button on the artists webpage to contact the artist directly. Let the artist know your preferred date and time for a visit, and how many are in your party. The artist will be sure to get back to you with their availability.
  • Visit the artist's studio location at the pre-arranged time. Please knock at the door, or ring the bell to let them know you have arrived.
  • To enter the studio you will need to wear a mask, use hand sanitizer and  follow social distancing guidelines by maintaining 6 feet of distance between yourself and others present in the space.

Option 4 - Inside & Outside

Some of our artists are able to offer indoor and outdoor visits. If you would like to visit an artist offering Option 4 here's what to do:

  • As soon as possible, use the Book a Tour button on the artists webpage to contact the artist directly. Let the artist know your preferred date and time for a visit, and how many are in your party. The artist will be sure to get back to you with their availability.
  • Begin your two part tour by visiting the artist's  outdoor studio space at the pre-arranged time. The artist will be sure to come out and greet you when previous guests have left the indoor studio space and they are ready to welcome you indoors.
  • The use of hand sanitizer and masks will be mandatory indoors, and we ask that throughout your indoor/outdoor tour respect standard covid-19 precautions in terms of social distancing.

We particularly encourage you to checkout our sponsor locations. This year's sponsors are a collection of local independent eateries, craft cideries, and our own award winning craft brewery The Second Wedge Brewing Company.
