ABOUT THE ARTIST

"I am driven by a need to explore beauty and nature, taking paths that have no defined end. I feel like I am on an adventure of the mind, opening myself to an unknown world.”

German born Christl Niemuller is a self-taught artist and is always learning. She has attended workshops at the Haliburton School of Fine Art, Hudson River Valley Art and the Scottsdale School of Fine Art.

She became a signature member of the Toronto Watercolour Society in 1997 and was exhibition chair for two years.

Christl works in a variety of media, including, oils, acrylic, encaustic and mixed media, however she remains drawn to the vibrancy and versatility of watercolour.

She is one of the original members of the Uxbridge Artist Collective  which has been on tour since 2009, exhibiting her work in galleries throughout Ontario.

Christl’s artwork is in corporate and private collections in Canada, Germany and Japan.  Her home and studio are in Goodwood, Ontario. and her studio is open annually on the Uxbridge Studio Tour or by appointment.

Option 4 - Indoor & Outdoor Tour

For 2020 Christl will be welcoming guests to view her work both indoors and outdoors at her studio/gallery. All tours by appointment only.
